    Build 9.0.0.2149
    Release Notes
    Key New Features
    High Scalability
FlexiCapture 9.0’s robust server-based architecture ensures fast and reliable processing—regardless of document size or volume.
    Remote Stations
Remote access to the system allows the data-capture process to be distributed among multiple devices for greater productivity including:
    Remote Scanning Station
Web-based Remote Administration and Monitoring Console
    Redaction
Remove confdential data from documents intended for public use. FlexiCapture’s new redaction feature allows sensitive data to be
    manually or automatically blacked-out.
    Multi-level Classifier
Critical for effciency, this classifer processing enables various types of documents to be used in a single batch. ABBYY’s new classifcation
technology optimizes document assembly and identifcation.
    New Recognition Languages
FlexiCapture 9.0 now enables fast and accurate processing of documents in Chinese (simplifed and traditional), Japanese, Korean, and
    Vietnamese.
    Multiple Destination Export
Data and images can be simultaneously exported to multiple destinations in the desired format. One export action can supply the back-
end application with data and the ECM system with indexed images.
    Web-service API
FlexiCapture’s automated document classifcation and data capture service can be smoothly integrated into existing business processes
    and workflow via SOAP.
    Known Issues
    1.
Batch Type export settings are not applied during export. In order to specify export destination, Document Defnition export settings
should be used. Make sure to change default export path in Document Defnition to the correct one in the UNC format.
    2. Port 80:
FlexiCapture web services use port 80 for product operations. In case other services use the same port, some issues may
occur. Workaround: switch conflicting services to ports other than 80.
    3.
The Monitoring Operator cannot send a batch or tasks to specifc processing stages. It can be done by the Senior Verifcator on the
    Verifcation Station.
    4.
The user rights displayed on the user’s page don’t include inherited rights from any group membership.
    5.
When several operators try to get a task from the same queue, some may receive the message «No
    active tasks».
    This message can
also appear if another user gets the task you were requesting, so please try again.

    6.
It is not possible to turn off the option “Check
    Hot Folder every…”
for an inaccessible Hot Folder. However, because Processing
Stations try to import from this Hot Folder, it can fail due to an inaccessible correspondent tab. The solution is to delete this profle.
    7.
After importing images from the Hot Folder (including subfolders) and moving them successfully to the processed folder, the images
are stored in this folder together without maintaining the structure.
    8.
The displayed number of recognized characters is a little higher than the real number of recognized symbols. The statistics of symbols
for verifcation incorporates the statistics for uncertain characters. (For example, felds marked for obligatory verifcation are also
added to the statistics of uncertainly recognized characters).
    9.
    In “Unattended
    Mode”,
    when the option “Delete
    documents after export”
is on, the documents are always deleted—even if the export
    was not successful.
    10.
    When the
    Unprocessed<
    > documents skip verifcation option “Skip
verification and data verification if percentage of uncertain
characters is equal or less then…”
is selected, documents go to the export stage, where the export fails, and then they go to
exceptions. These documents should go directly to the exception stage.
    11.
If one of the documents from the group cannot be exported, the entire group goes to the exceptions. If the option “Export
    entire
    batches”
is off, only the documents which couldn’t be exported should go to the exception stage, and the others should have a
    processed status.
    12.
If a Processing Station stops and the export task goes from this station to another one, the documents are exported 2 times.
    13.
The user can connect to an existing Database (which was used previously with some of the File Storage). If the user forgets to specify
the File Storage, or types the wrong name of the Storage, no error will be displayed, and the connection to the Database will be
successful. But when the user tries to open the project, an error will occur in “Unable
    to access Project’s options
    (‘http://baikal-
    2/40190958-5A70-4A68-A612-3DCFAB80757C/SingleEntryPoint’)”. This object is corrupt.
    14.
When the SQL Server is installed on computer A, and the Application Server, on computer B, it is not possible to create a Database
    from computer C using Windows-authentication.
    15.
No warning message is displayed when the storage is full. If your Database is full you can create a new one or address to our technical
support. To avoid this situation please use the SQL server without size limitation or use fle storage.
